An 18th Century mahogany pedestal desk of lovely quality. The drawers all around are inlaid in bone with the letters of the alphabet. The top central drawer slides all the way through both sides. C-scroll spandrels flank the knee-hole. Retaining the original brass handles. The blind-tooled, black leather top is a later replacement. Built of superior quality mahogany timbers with oak as the secondary. Constructed to be transported in one piece.
